Another day of waking up in Bordeaux and tonight we sail for Bourg. I truly could just live here in Bordeaux, it is so beautiful, everyone is so chic and Uber cool, from young children to students and the more mature, they all ooze confidence and style. Not just a few, but the majority of locals we pass look like they have been styled just to step out the door but they make it look effortless. They even jog with style. Sigh.
This was last nights dinner-
.We had another latish night due to a cruise up the river to view the city lights, it made the already beautiful city even more stunning.
We have been starting the day with a hearty breakfast to see us through till lunch each day, as we really didn’t want to buy food out, we always fill up our water bottles though.
Today we went to a little seaside village of Arcachon, about 1 hours bus ride from the ship. Being coastal, of course, seafood is a big industry, with the area being famous for oysters.
Once back to the ship we had another lovely relaxed lunch (might be the wine) then we hopped on a tram to go to St Catherine’s st, once again, to buy a few other gifts for my sisters friends.
