Stupid Superstitions

Hello Dear Reader,

Yesterday morning I ground some Himalayan salt crystals in my Thermomix and as I was decanting it into a jar I spilt some on the countertop, without delay I grabbed a bit and threw it over my left shoulder. I do a similar thing with spilt sugar, I write the word joy in it. It got me thinking of superstitions and how they stick to you like glue.

I have a few more-

Never put shoes on the table

Never put an umbrella up in the house

Breaking a mirror will bring 7 years bad luck

Don't walk under a ladder

Don't cross the path of a black cat

See a penny, pick it up and all day long you'll have good luck (I have the movie "Grease" to thank for that)
