Sunny Side Up Sunday

Hello Dear Reader,

Today I am grateful for this weekend to prepare for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Yesterday I made the Dulce de Lech and biscuit base for the Banofee Pie (Christmas Eve dinner) cooked the quinoa and roasted the sweet potato and almonds for this salad (also for Christmas Eve dinner) along with a quick vac of the house and lounges and washing the dogs, their bedding and houses.

Today I will make the custard for Christmas Day, make the Pavlova and a batch of Turkey, Cranberry and Walnut Savoury Rolls for our work Christmas Lunch, make the salad dressing for the above salad, whip the cream (for the Pavlova and the Banoffee) and finish the Banoffee Pie, along with washing the towels, cleaning the slow cooker and setting the table for dinner tomorrow night.
Phew, that should keep me out of trouble for a while.

I will take a break at 1.30 pm sharp to watch the Christmas Special of Gardening Australia, I love this show and are so looking forward to it!
