Noosa North Shore Camping Grounds are within the Cooloola National Park and as you would expect, there is plenty of protected flora and fauna. I took a few photos of some wonderful flora and fauna yesterday to show you what we see most days while camping at this beautiful spot. Along with these few examples there are lots I simply couldn’t capture, such a as the loud and large black cockatoos that race over head in the early morning screeching as they fly high over head and the magnificent eagles that soar high over the sand dunes keeping a watchful eye for any fish.
The winds have bought in loads of spectacular, otherworldly jelly fish and bluebottles, I actually took a little video of a blue bottle moving on the sand, I have never seen this behaviour before, I had always thought they were unable to move except when being buoyed along in the water. When I get home I will upload it to Vimeo and then add it to this post, it is quite interesting.
I added the photos of the flowers to the #flowersfornoah, on Instagram, yesterday afternoon, I follow “The Dahlia Girl” on Instagram and this hashtag is to remember her infant son who passed away only a few days after being born without complications. There have been so many beautiful flowers added, why don’t you go over and check it out.
Please enjoy these wonderful photos of nature at her best.
I think these are Evening Primrose, they grow all over the low sand dunes and are covered in bees

One of the many bluebottles we saw yesterday
An otherworldly brown and opaque jelly fish
This jelly fish is tiny, about the size of a bottle top
This is the really common blue jelly fish we see most often
We bring wild bird seed with us to feed these little black ducks, they also love having a bowl of fresh water.
