And goodbye to our camping week at Noosa North Shore, I don’t want to leave. We were up super early this morning to see the sunrise, I never tire of this spectacular, you know the saying, sunrises happen every day you just need to show up.
I won’t prattle on too much today as we’ve got to make an early start packing up the beast, I mean the camper trailer, as this is only the second time we’ve used it, I find it very challenging to do. I hope it will get easier!
What we bought
Shopping from Coles
Shopping from Aldi
Shopping from the Northside Discount Fruit Barn
What we spent
Coles-$42.63
Aldi-$71.46
Northside Discount Fruit Barn-$14.84
Marjax Meats-not pictured, pork for the Char Sui and Sui Yook that lovely hubby roasted for our sons Birthday-$42.30
TOTAL-$171.23- a bigger week but it was another Birthday in our house, those swings and roundabouts are getting a workout lately
What we ate
We actually had a family dinner on this night and we decided to push the easy button and get takeaway pizzas, not frugal but it was better than me being stressed at the end of a working week. I forgot to take any photos.
Saturday-there was a few leftovers to use up, I had the last Sweet Potato Wrap
Sunday-was our sons Birthday, we had Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup
Followed by Char Sui, Sui Yook, Ramen Eggs and Asian Greens
Our son with his partner (left) and his sister
Have a look at the cake that our sons beautiful partner organised, so fitting and it was delicious!
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we had my Chicken, Black Bean and Quinoa Bake
Thursday, Friday and probably tonight-Upmarket Rice and Beans
So that’s a wrap, over to you what was on your family table this week.
Have a lovely day,
Fi
