What we bought, spent and ate this week

Hello Dear Reader,

We've had some interesting meals this week, I made Steamed Cucumbers with Pork, Ginger and Shiitake Mushrooms, I haven't made these in ages, it is one of our kids favourites dinners and as they were both home for dinner on Wednesday, I knew what I was going to make for them. It is a simple dish and oh so delicious. It is another one of our late Grans recipes and one that I will share soon with you. It may not be everyones cup of tea, but I think it is a recipe worth sharing.

We also had some wonderful, Greek inspired pizzas, using left over roast lamb, some roasted Mediterranean veggies and a swirl of minted greek yoghurt, they were just beaut and a great way of using up leftover roast meat.

Friday-Family Dinner-Lamb and Roast Veggie Pizza with Minted Yoghurt Drizzle

Saturday-Family Dinner-Pan Fried Reef Fish with Chickpea and Quinoa Salad and Roasted Pumpkin

Sunday was leftover Roast from Thursday

Monday and Tuesday-Salmon, Pea and Potato Frittata with steamed Broccoli

Wednesday-Steamed Cucumbers with Bok Choy and a Quick Asian Omelette

Thursday-Chicken and Cashew Stir Fry
