Another Walk Through Nature

Hello Dear Reader,

Yesterday we went for another walk through the Bunya Mountains National Park, this time tackling the longer 10 km track. We started off earlier than the day before, leaving about 10 am and finishing about 1pm. It was a little more challenging than the first walk, obviously longer but with quite a few hills and uneven ground. It was also very diverse, lots of rainforest of course but then opening up onto open bush land with ghost gums and black boys (Xanthorrhoea)

It was well worth the long walk, such pristine bush land and magnificent tall and twisted trees, we heard lots of bird life and were lucky to see a few, we also heard and then saw 2 little pigs, one second I was saying “that sounds like a pig” next minute we saw 2 little pigs scurrying up the hill through the bracken fern. I was just thankful there was no mummy pig close by, I wouldn’t like to cross a big mummy pig.

Well that’s all for today, Thankyou to everyone who wished us a happy wedding anniversary, it means a lot to us. We’ll catch up soon,
Fi
