And welcome to this weeks wrap up of what we bought, spent and ate at our place this week. I hope you still enjoy reading about this topic, it's no problem to do, it is such a part of our life now, we take photos of what we buy and eat and keep the receipts from the previous week and then, often on a Friday evening, I type the post up.
I find it interesting also to look back over the years to see what we were eating at different times of the year and stages of our life. For instance when my late In-Laws and Gran were with us, we always had a pizza night, it was always takeaway, as it was their shout, it gave me a night off cooking, which I was always grateful for. We now very rarely have any takeaway and my night off cooking is Friday and is leftovers or "On Toast" night. We are also eating a more varied diet as there were lots of foods that they wouldn't eat (vegetarian for one) and they also wouldn't eat leftovers, which always baffled me.
I am also looking forward to the near future when it will just be Lovely Hubby and I to cook for, as our Son and Partner are going to be moving in to the, now vacant, home next door. I think it will take a bit of adjustment, I've been cooking for a family for so long, there will be loads of leftovers eaten for sure.
Now on with the food-
