The Happy Home of Gray Benko

Hejsan! I hope you're having a great week? I'm enjoying my last few hours on Sweden's west coast  (join me on a hike between Fiskebäckkil and Sundsvik on Instagram stories right now) - it's such a beautiful part of the world!). Even so, it's not lost on me that today is officially the first day of Sweden's coldest month of the year - so to brighten things up a little, I thought we'd escape to sunnier climes here on the blog and the fabulous home of the photographer, Gray Benko, her husband and two children in South Carolina. Captured by Clay Austin for the Glitter Guide, Gray's home is one of those that's sunny on the outside and inside. Think a century old house with splashes of colour, one-off pieces and a lorry load of love and laughter!







This luxurious looking blue velvet sofa is the kind of piece you can dress up or dress down - and it looks soooo cosy! It goes beautifully with the Beni Ourain rug too.



This is the record player seen in the far corner. Very cool!
