Measles Outbreak in Jewish Religious Community

Rabbi Mordechai Shain isn’t sure about Vaccines.

Almost all of the 400 kids in the school he runs, from infants to eighth-grade teens, are vaccinated. About eight or 10 are not. But he’s skeptical that immunization works at all

"My doctor in shul says everyone should take a flu shot, so a lot of people went,” said Shain, the head of school at the Tenafly Chabad Academy in Northern New Jersey, about 13 miles from Manhattan. “Ninety percent that took a flu shot got [the] flu and the 10% didn’t get the flu. I speak to so many doctors and they’re saying just the opposite, that vaccines are good, but they put in the vaccine different methods that give you more danger than the vaccine is saving you from.”

Later he added, *“In the vaccine there are things there that are putting you at higher risk.”

(According to the Centers for Disease Control, flu vaccinations reduce the risk of contracting the illness by 40 to 60 percent.) [This is a baldface Lie. TRUE Statistics (not skewered) statistics indicate the opposite. The **history of vaccines shows that the vaccine industry was invented at a point in time when infectious diseases were at the lowest levels, mainly because of “natural” (G-d created) immunization within the human chemistry and due to great improvements in personal and social cleanliness.]

Shain’s school, located in the Jewish population center of suburban Bergen County, is the only one among about a dozen Orthodox schools there that still accepts unvaccinated kids, according to L’via Weisinger, a school nurse who runs a group of nurses at Bergen Jewish schools.

The vaccine issue has become especially urgent as measles has spread in nearby Haredi communities with low vaccination rates.

On Tuesday, Rockland County in New York, which borders Bergen County, barred unvaccinated minors from public places. The county has had 153 confirmed cases of measles since October.

Despite institutional pressure, a strain of opposition to vaccines has persisted in Haredi communities claiming that vaccines are ineffective at best and harmful at worst. A pamphlet circulating among Orthodox communities, published by an Orthodox anti-vaccine group calling itself Parents Educating and Advocating for Children’s Health, falsely claims that doctors obscure evidence that vaccines are harmful, and links vaccines to brain swelling, paralysis and death.

In reality, lasting negative effects from vaccines are extremely rare.

The group also hosts regular conference calls featuring anti-vaccine doctors, according to the Gothamist news site.

“[S]ome of what we are told about vaccines is simply untrue,” the pamphlet’s introduction reads. “From our research (and, for some of us, from personal experience) many more than ‘one in a million’ lives have been ruined by vaccines. We don’t want any more people to be hurt needlessly.”

Weisinger, a former board member of the Orthodox Jewish Nurses Association, said the anti-vaccination movement has taken hold among some Haredi Jews due to lack of education and distrust of authority.

“There’s a lack of trust in the government that goes way back,” she said. “You have others who really care about their kids who are not educated. They’re not out in the real world hearing real science. They’re not taught to discern between conspiracy theories and real science.”

In late February, Bergen County saw one case of measles, which is highly contagious and can stay in the air for hours after an infected person coughs.

“We say our community is pro-vaccine, but then we let an anti-vaxxer into our school and they have measles and our immuno-compromised kids get exposed and our pregnant women get exposed,” Weisinger said. “Those people are all susceptible to people from Rockland County coming into our community.”

Jewish institutions in the county have urged their members to get vaccinated.

[The CDC is being “influenced”  and ”THE MEASLES EPIDEMIC” is manufactured to nicely dovetail with (antiSemitic) accusations of “neglect”, “fear”, and ”unsanitary” conditions.]

[Couple the LIVE MEASLES STRAIN with the other volatile ingredients and Wallah! you have a noxious cocktail to inflict.]

[WHY IS THIS “OUTBREAK” SO OFTEN CENTERED IN RELIGIOUS AND JEWISH AND ISRAELI SOURCES? Think for a minute. Was any historical outbreak so hysterically centered on religious Jews? Even some Jewish doctors still cling to the old canard that measles is deadly, when having it is the most (G–d created) natural means of immunizing children.]

[The Nazis were most involved with scientific and chemical experiments. These Nazi scientists were saved and brought to The US to "Help” US scientists and NASA endeavors.]

[Are we witnessing clandestine efforts against US Jews again? Who is orchestrated this? What are their objectives? One must take Dr Shain’s cautions seriously. Watch, to see if he is attacked and smeared by other “religious” pro-vax doctors (who profit from big farmah) for each vaccine injection administered. When will real MDs take their “hippocratic oath” seriously and not hypocraticly.]

[One cannot spout the benefits of today’s vaccines when recent scientific research shouts the opposite!]

"… ten years of practice data clearly show that unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children have a dramatically lower risk of autism compared to children vaccinated according to the CDC schedule."

Real-Life Data Show that the CDC Vaccine Schedule is Causing Harm. “Real-world” findings
Up until the mid-2000s, Dr. Thomas administered vaccines in lockstep with the CDC schedule. However, when he witnessed previously healthy one-year-old patients regressing into severe autism for four years running, he started questioning this approach. After delving into published research never mentioned in medical school, Dr. Thomas developed the slower and more selective vaccine schedule described in his book. For the past ten years, his practice has put parents in the driver’s seat of making vaccine decisions, offering them a full discussion of vaccine benefits and risks—including the risks of neurotoxic vaccine ingredients such as aluminum—as well as providing detailed advice about how to support a well-balanced immune system. Dr. Thomas reports that while the majority of families in his practice vaccinate, “almost none of them follow the CDC schedule.”

The independent consultant identified a total of 3,344 pediatric patients born into the practice over the ten-year period, including 715 unvaccinated children and 2,629 partially vaccinated children. The medical records showed that the latter received about three to six times fewer vaccines (7 to 18 shots) than same-age children vaccinated according to the CDC schedule (25 to 40 shots). The Impact of Vaccines on Mortality Decline Since 1900—According to Published Science can be read here.

** History of Vaccines in Charts

Dr. Kass’ chart doesn’t even include the measles vaccine…what gives? Well, in 1970, the measles vaccine was just beginning to be rolled out, and as you can clearly see, measles had long since experienced a dramatic decline in mortality. With Pertussis (Whooping Cough), he produced a similar chart:

In this case, you can actually see when the Pertussis vaccine was introduced. He also showed a chart for Scarlett Fever, which furthers the confusion about the role of vaccines, because there’s never been a Scarlett Fever vaccine, and yet the chart of a huge decline in mortality from Scarlett Fever looks very similar to measles and pertussis:
