Here and Now 10

Hello Dear Reader,

And hello to lovely Sarah from Say Little Hen who hosts this Here and Now link up. I completely missed the boat last month and I will only just make this month. Life just gets too busy sometimes. It has been a lovely mild start to Spring but it is definitely in the air, the days are longer and the warmth in the middle of the day is divine. I so love Spring, the earth is waking up after a long cold winter and there is a new, recharged and refreshed feeling in the air.

I haven't really been doing much gardening over winter as we are in the process of making new raised garden beds. We sold/gave away many of the potted plants that no longer fitted our vision of what I wanted from the garden. We still have the citrus trees which will be part of the new garden but everything else will be planted out from seeds.

Now on the this months Here and Now

Loving//My extra time I have to myself before I start work in the morning. I have negotiated new working hours, starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm, it's 11/2 hour less per day and I am absolutely loving it. I am able to get so much done of a morning before leaving for work and it sets me up for a good mood day. I have been popping something into the slow cooker before I leave at least once a week

Eating//Still eating some warming comfort food as the beginning of Spring has been quite mild. This is our new favourite Winter Pudding-Sticky Ginger Pudding, holy cow, it is just delicious.

Drinking-My usual, lots of water, Sencha Green tea to start the day and Peppermint for the rest of the day. I also make one de-cafe coffee a week and enjoy it while watching my favourite TV program-Gardening Australia

Feeling-So super tired, I am heading off to the Doctors this morning to have everything checked out

Making-Dog coats and a cat mat out of thrifted fabric

Thinking-I really must make more of an effort to get our little family together, must, must, must. I love these people so much and yet I don't get to spend much time with them. Time is a thief.

Dreaming-Of planting out my new raised garden bed very soon
