Well, that week went quickly, the weeks are zipping by lately. Do you find the weeks just fly by or do they grind slowly for you? I know the longest day of the week has to be Friday, and I am sure the shortest will be this coming Monday, which is a public holiday for Queen Elizabeths' Birthday. We have a lot to do over this long weekend as our Son and his beautiful Partner will be moving in next door, to move into my late MIL's home.
They have great plans to renovate the home to make it more modern and have already sourced a builder who will do the work for them. The home will look completely different when they have finished. It is very livable the way it is and they will just do a bit at a time. I am so excited for them both to start this new chapter of their lives.
I have hit the grocery shops, twice again, this past week looking for marked down produce, I found some great bargains and they will go towards next week menu. Every little bit is a saving.

With our son and partner now moving next door, I think you will see lots more "leftover" meals on our weekly menu. It will certainly be strange not to have to cook every single night. So a new chapter in our lives has begun. #emptynesters😉
Have a lovely day,
