Day 3

Hello Dear Reader,

Just a quick little update of my adventures with clearing out my late In-Laws home, yesterday saw me take a car load full of books to the local Lifeline Superstore, when I say a car full, I really mean a car full, the back was full, the back seats were full and the passenger seat was full. In total we (the lovely Lifeline guy and me) filled 3 shopping trolleys full of book and other "stuff". I am so very grateful for places like this that are well equipped and happy to get lots of donations.

I discovered lots of other "paper work" in the garage and have put it out the front ready for "Shred-Easy" to come and shred it for us, tomorrow. I sort of knew they were there but really didn't realise the extent of it until we pilled it up. Boy oh boy...

Some of this paper work was from 1997

I also boxed up lots of items that my daughter wants, it's mainly the Asian tea sets and the pottery that she wanted, so those items are all wrapped and boxed ready to be stored. I have laid out, on a table, all the other pieces that we don't want and today I will email the photos to the Auction House in Albion, along with some photo's of some of the unwanted furniture that we haven't sold so far.

This is only a portion of the items collected over a lifetime

So far the office and one of the lounge areas have been done, today I will be focusing on the dining room, my late MIL room (which still has a lot of stuff in it) and one of the bedrooms where Lovely Hubby's late Grandmother used to sleep, it is also full of stuff...

Have the loveliest of days,
💙Fi
